Abel Shaddick (Peter Falk) and Herman D. Washington (introducing Aaron Meeks) couldn't be more difficult - they are from opposite ends of life, from different backgrounds, from different worlds. They seem to have nothing in common. But now fate is forcing them to spend the summer together. Despite their differences, they start to form an unlikely friendship and find they may have much to share.
