In 1969, David Zucker along with brother Jerry and friend Jim Abrahams formed a live performing troupe based out of Madison, Wisconsin. The Kentucky Fried Theatre, as it was known, practiced a zany style of fast- paced comedy that developed into the team's trademark. After heading west to Hollywood, Zucker, Abrahams and Zucker co- directed their first film Airplane!, in 1980. Since then, "Z- A- Z" has continued to wow box office crowds with such hilarious hits as Top Secret!, Ruthless People, and The Naked Gun trilogy. Actors such as Leslie Nielson, Patrick Swayze, Robert Stack, Peter Graves, Julie hagerty and Maureen McGovern share their hysterical experiences working with the trio in this side- splitting cinematic retorspective.
