Jamie Hankins is a good teen who is killed when he stands up to the local thug, Packard Walsh (Nick Cassavetes) and his goons. Soon after, a mysterious driver of a black car, Jake Kesey (Charlie Sheen), shows up. He befriends Jamie’s girlfriend, Keri Johnson (Sherilyn Fenn), and brother, Billy Hankins (Matthew Barry). Slowly, Jake begins to pick off Packard’s gang, one by one. Sheriff Loomis (Randy Quaid) has not been able to stop Packard, but has to investigate the mysterious deaths. His investigation not only gives him what he needs to nail Packard, but begins to solve the mystery surrounding Jake Kesey and the death of Jamie Hankins.
