Detective Catherine Palmer (Ellen Barkin) investigates a string of murders. A serial killer is murdering and torturing women using S&M. Catherine investigation takes her to the underworld of sex, and debauchery. She has to find the killer but she has to accept the fact that her killer maybe in the most respected circles. Catherine investigates the high society and the victims’ therapist Dr. Broussard (Julian Sands). She stumbles across the craziest evidence that she did not want to find. Detective Palmer gets pulled in to world of free love and sadomasochism, she must decide who the killer is and what is real.
