The mystical film traces the journey of Greek-American director "Mr. A", across the Balkans in search of several lost reel of film shot by the Manakia brothers, pioneers of cinema in that region of the world. Along the way he has several passionate encounters with various women who have been, or may have been, part of his life. Filled with stunning imagery, the film travels through war-torn Eastern Europe giving a compelling eye-witness account, as well as an informed and compassionate description of the scope of the conflict that is still unraveling in the Balkan states. |
