The original Pippi Longstocking (Inger Nilsson) is back. Join the rambunctious Pippi and her friends Tommy and Annika in these timeless, laugh-filled adventures. Inger Nilsson made her first appearance as Pippi in a TV series in 1968. Footage from the TV series was used to make the first feature release Pippi Longstocking (1970). Included here are six uncut episodes from that series, remastered from brand new prints with all-new English dubbing. Episodes Included: Episode 1: "Pippi Moves into Villa Villekula" -- An odd little girl named Pippi takes up residence with her pet horse and monkey. Episode 2: "Pippi's New Friends" -- Pippi and her new friends go to the candy shop and share treats with all the children in town. Episode 3: "Pippi is Looking for Things" -- Pippi is invited to an afternoon tea party by Tommy and Annika's mother. Episode 4: "Pippi is Going on a Trip" -- The kids go to the seashore to fly kites and Pippi shares her lunch with two escaped prisoners. Episode 5: "Pippi and the Spooks" -- Tommy and Annika come over for Pippi's birthday and help her search the attic for ghosts. Episode 6: "Pippi at the Fun Fair" -- A carnival comes to town. After playing games and going on rides, Pippi wrestles the Strongman. |
