Mark "Dags" D'agastino (Jeremy Renner) and Reggie Barry (Rob Moore) are friends and two of the most popular kids in school, who are much more interested in partying than in studying. When they are caught skipping school and planning a party at Principal Moss' (Matt Frewer) house, they are thrown in detention. As part of the punishment in detention, they are asked to write a letter to the President about the flaws in the current educational system. They get smart girl Lisa (Fiona Loewi) to write it, and the President likes it so much, he invites them to come to Washington. Along with Principal Moss and teacher Miss Milford (Valerie Mahaffey) and a big group of students, they set out for Washington D. C. What twists and turns will accompany this group on their travels?
