Three roommates are looking for a new flat mate. There is Juliet (Kerry Fox) the sexy doctor, David (Christopher Eccleston) the serious one and Alex the immature playboy. They go through a hilarious and lengthy screening process to find the ideal roommate. They settle on Hugo (Keith Allen) a sophisticated older man with a dark side. Hugo however is found dead the next morning and the roommates discover a huge amount of cash. What they don’t realize is that the mob is after Hugo for the stolen money. Initially Alex, Juliet, and David enjoy their new wealth but things quickly spiral out of control. The police begin to investigate Hugo’s death and the mob is looking for their money. Paranoia and greed consume the roommates as David loses control and the other roommates plot to get the money for themselves.
