Since then he has been trying to regain the woman of his life, Isabella (Marisa Petroro) although she married another man and is now the mother of three children. Because Jake is depressed, unable to get on with his life and to forget the past, his friends, Steve Bottino and Gianluca Tempesti, decide to cheer him up by arranging him a date with a beautiful Italian woman, named Marisa Costa (Cerina Vincent) from North End neighborhood, Boston. Irresistibly attracted by this special woman and being convinced that she would never accept a love relationship with someone who is not of the same nationality, Jake resorts to a trick to win her heart and claims he is Italian.
