Amanda (Sarah Michelle Gellar) inherits her mother’s restaurant, but lacking her mother’s culinary gift, the restaurant goes downhill. When Amanda stumbles across an enchanted crab in a local market, the crab transforms her into a cooking genius. Amanda is able to save her mother’s restaurant, but at the same time she is chosen to replace a moody chef who had walked out on the opening night of a high end department store’s new restaurant. Amanda, with help from the crab, simultaneously stuns the many restaurant critics present while saving the career of Tom, her new romantic interest.
