Sirens is set in the 1930's and is about a British minister (Hugh Grant) and his wife who are traveling to Australia. On their trip they stop at a controversial painters home to discuss a painting he has done that the church is upset about. They find themselves drawn into the unrestrained world of the artist (Sam Neill), his wife and his models (Elle Macpherson and Portia de Rossi). The minister's wife finds herself sexually attracted to the models and their carefree world and starts questioning her own life. The minister is caught between convincing the artist the err of his ways and saving his own marriage |
