Barry Champlain (Eric Bogosian) is an angry young man. He gains some attention with his force of personality and extreme political views through a national talk show. This attention leads Barry to his own program in the Dallas market. Many love his style and behavior, but many more hate his ethnicity and willingness to step outside of the mainstream. Soon hate mail and threats reach him at the station. This only spurs Barry on, and the act soon takes over his life. His fight with the anger seeps through everything, both personal and professional. Eventually, when Barry snaps on the air, a dark fate waits for him outside the studio. |
