Allan (Cole Hauser) is having one of the worst days of his life. He lost a promotion to a younger co-worker who stole his ideas, gets in a fight when he can't pay up on a bad bet, and he returns home to find his wife in bed with his best friend. Allan goes to his local bar to drink his pain away, and while there he meets a man named Jonas (Cuba Gooding Jr.). Through the course of their conversation, Jonas mentions that he is a hit man, and tells Allan to give him a list of 5 people he wants to have killed, and Jonas will do the rest. Allan jokingly makes the list, viewing it as a bit of therapy. He is shocked when he returns from the bathroom to find Jonas gone with his list. When the people on his list begin to die, Allan is in a race against time to stop Jonas from going through with killing everyone on his list. Can he stop Jonas in time?
