Waiting for Superman is a documentary that takes a look into the public school systems of the United States. We see the many hardships lower income families are faced with when they try to send their children to a good school. We take a look into the lives of the children who are part of a lottery that determines who will get into the more productive school in their community. It is a very touching story that shows how broken our system really is. The director gives us a look into the "drop-out factories" and "academic sinkholes" that many children are forced to go to.
