Arathorn (Christopher Dane) and Gilraen (Beth Aynsley) are the parents of the fabled Aragorn from the Lord of the Rings trilogy. They live amongst their people, the Dunedain Rangers of the North. They are a people who are fierce survivors in the wilderness and they are also the descendants of the great kings from the lands of the West. Their survival is a crucial part of the story of War of the Ring, in which the fabled son Aragorn will take his rightful place back upon the throne of the ancient kings. The fight for the survival of this unbroken line of kings in the face of dark oppression is the premise of Born Of Hope. |
