After Toy maker Hiram Flaversham (Alan Young) is kidnapped from his house by a bat with a crippled wing named Fidget (Candy Candido), his daughter Olivia (Susanne Pollatschek) goes to the great mouse detective, Basil of Baker Street (Barrie Ingham) to help her find him. They discover that Hiram's kidnapping was formulated by Professor Padraic Ratigan (Vincent Price) as part of a plot to take over as King of the Mice of England. Olivia is the next to be kidnapped to be used as leverage to make her father build a clockwork robot to aid Ratigan in his endevors. How much can Ratigan accomplish with the Great Mouse Detective on his trail? |
