|
"Crazy in Alabama" is the story of a small town woman, Lucille Vinson (Melanie Griffith), in 1960's Alabama, who kills her abusive husband,and hits the road. Her destination is Hollywood, where she intends to pursue a career in acting. After a brief stop in Las Vegas she continues to Hollywood despite the pleading of her brother, Dove(David Morse) to come back and turn herself in. She is arrested at the Golden Gate Bridge, and is transported back to Alabama and tried for the murder of her husband. Meanwhile her nephew "Peejoe",(Lucas Black) finds himself a witness to a murder committed by the racist town sheriff Dogget,(Meat loaf). |
