Andrew Norris (Perry King) is looking forward to his new position as the music teacher at Abraham Lincoln High School. This is a hardened poorly maintained inner city school requiring metal detectors at the entrances and some students are not so eager to have Norris as their new teacher. One such student is the gifted piano player Peter Stegman (Timothy Van Patten). Stegman is the leader of a violent gang that controls all the illegal activities, from selling drugs to prostitution, in the school. When it appears that Norris is interfering with Stegman’s business endeavors, he and his gang members Barnyard (Keith Knight), Fallon (Neil Clifford), Drugstore (Stanfan Amgrim) and Patsy (Lisa Langlois) set out to harass Norris. Norris is unfazed by their harassment until the gang starts threatening his wife Diane ( Merrie Lynn Ross). Norris is then forced to brutally confront the gang members one by one and in terms that they understand.
