Eight year old Elise feels as though her world has collapsed when her beloved older sister, Frances (Danielel Catanzariti), disappears with no evidence and for no known reason. Now an adult some 20 years later, Elise (Natalie Imbruglia) begins to dig deeper into the secrets and questions of the past, trying to find the reason behind Frances' odd disappearance. Only by finding answers for the past will Elise truly be able to put the event behind her and go on with her life.
