Upon his return to his small Southern hometown, Phillip (Devon Gearhart) decides to wander the unpopulated streets around the area. Soon, the memories of his fateful childhood summer instantly flashes back to him. The summer that changes his life and everything around him, when a mysterious stranger came to his once idyllic paradise hometown. The mysterious stranger named Eli Cottonmouth (Will Patton) who arrived at his town to bewitch his townsfolk with his captivating ways. His unwelcome arrival awed both his best friend Jackson Patch (Colin Ford) and Phillip himself. Later, the two boys managed to use his ancient camera to snap pictures of their town for Eli. But soon, they watch helplessly the lives of those they love struggling to hang onto their dreams without the miserable and complicated life that they have.
