Abercrombie and Fitch have a resident expert and best-selling author on fishing and fashion who has never actually fished. Roger (Rock Hudson) is a total fake, but becomes victim of his own ruse when a female publicist named Abigail Page (Paul Prentiss) comes up with the idea of having Roger show his skills by actually demonstrating fishing techniques at a prestigious tournament. She employs one of her angler friends, another expert flycaster named Easy Mueller (Maria Perschy) to set up the appearance. The two women then take their plaything Roger in hand and must give him a crash course in all they know about fishing. Love may complicate the angling of the anglers. |
