Five Australian journalists go missing as Indonesia prepares for the invasion of East Tumor. Four week pass and foreign correspondent Roger East (Anthony La Paglia) is lured into East Timor Jose Ramos-Horta (Oscar Isaac) in an attempt to get the reporter to tell East Timor’s story and investigate the disappearance of the journalists. East becomes obsessed with finding the truth as the invasion approaches. Eats strikes a friendship with the man who will eventually become President. Does East uncover the truth about the journalist in face of the invasion or will he be caught up in the political unrest that has consumed a nation for over thirty years. |
