The twins, an orphaned girl, and the other a rich heiress, bring their two separate lifestyles together through a meeting of chance, while scheming to unite their caretakers in love. Amanda (Mary-Kate Olsen) is a tomboy who has no family and lives within an orphanage, relying on Diane (Kirstie Alley) to support, love and care for her. Alyssa (Ashley Olsen) is a rich heiress and lives with her Father (Steve Guttenburg) who often seems caught up in his romance with his soon-to-be bride, she of whom leaves much to be desired. |
