Benjamin Franklin (Richard Easton) was raised in Boston and later shifted to Philadelphia where he soon became a very famous printer. He also pursued science and became a famous scientist. He pursued a career in diplomacy as well when he became American Ambassador to France. The documentary also looks at his contributions to the U.S. Constitution and the Declaration of Independence and his opposition to slavery. A large part of the documentary is in the words of Benjamin Franklin himself which has been relayed by actors. Narrated by Colm Feore.
