"The Secret Of Moonacre" (2008) During the 1880s in London,sa young girl living with her wealthy dad Maria Mearriweather ( Dakota Blue Richards), faces death early in life when her father dies and an uncle she’s never met takes her into his life. Quite eccentric, Sir Benjamin (Ioan Gruffuddas), he calls himself, lives in a home that is a large manor he calls Moonacre. Something is quite different and mysterious at Moonacre, however. Maria’s uncle gives her the run of the house, but warns her never to go into the forest. Maria finds that she is a Moon Princess and finds herself in the middle of an old feud between her family and another family. She must find the source of the feud and help her family and friends find peace. |
