Everything is going well for Nick Beam (Tim Robbins). He has a good job in advertising and a peaceful suburban life with wife Ann (Kelly Preston). That is before he discovers that Ann is actually having an affair with his boss, Philip (Michael McKean). Distraught, Nick gets into his car and drives. Not paying attention, he ends up in a rough area and is soon car-jacked by T. Paul (Martin Lawrence). Now believing that he has nothing to lose, instead of backing down, Nick confronts T. Paul. And so begins an unlikely pairing, as they join forces to rob Philip, partly for the money, and partly for revenge. |
