“Easy A” is a tale of the terrors of high school and peer pressure as Olive (Emma Stone) becomes victim of a small lie of her own creation. Olive first lies to her friend, Rhiannon (Alyson Michalka) about a weekend date and then blurts out she lost her virginity on the fake date. However when an over active busybody named Marianne (Amanda Bynes) over hears this, she spreads it like a plague in school. Now Olive feels a kinship with Hester Prynne from ‘The Scarlet Letter’ and now uses the art of lying and deception to advance her whole high school career and academic future. But keeping up with each lie is a little harder than it is to make them up! |
