Dennis (Brian Dennehy) has been a cop for years and he has always moonlighted as a crime writer. After his wife died of cancer he has no inspiration to write any more. His imagination is failing him and his life is not fairing much better. One day Dennis meets Cleve (James Woods) and they start to talk. Cleve convinces Dennis after some time to travel around the country with him. The stories that Cleve tells of murder and serial killers is fascinating, and it gives Dennis stories for his novel. Dennis falls in love with writing again and he realizes that he ahs one of the best stories he has ever had in his life. But what Dennis doesn’t realize is, is Cleve just telling stories or is it real. |
