Bryan Becket (Tim Daly) is a lawyer who moves into his deceased aunt’s (Sara Weaver) Victorian mansion while transitioning through his divorce. After strange, ominous instances start occurring, Bryan writes them off as odd, but nothing more. Eventually, however, the supernatural occurrences become so severe and frequent that he must enlist the help of a psychic Cassie (Zoe Saldana) who definitely picks up on a presence of some sort. Simultaneously, Bryan begins reliving traumatic childhood events that he has no recollection of ever experiencing. He soon realizes that the spirits in the house may be forcing him to realize a lot more than he bargained for.
