Coming out as gay to his macho-posturing gang friends may prove more than a little dangerous for Cal (Wayne Virgo) in working class England. Parochial and narrow-minded, the local gang of teenagers regards any deviation from their self-imposed identity to be heresy. A flaming French foreign exchange student named Olivier (Marc Laurent) finds out the hard way that the gang, led by Jonno (Tom Bott) and Nessa (Alice Payne), an intolerant young woman scorned, attacks openly gay men. Cal is appalled and feels guilty, striking up a relationship with Olivier and uncovering his deep-rooted romantic feelings. Retribution for alienation of Cal’s affection drives the gang to new levels of violence.
