Andrei Evilenko (Malcolm McDowell) is a teacher in Kiev when he is released from his position because of an act of pedophilia on a student. Following this incident he rapidly descends into a life of violent rape and murder of women and young children, cutting them apart and eating them. Vadim Lesiev (Marton Csokas) is the detective assigned to hunt down this brutal murderer, working on the case for almost a decade while Evilenko kills over fifty people. He finally manages to track him down and bring him to justice. This story is loosely based on the true story of Andrei Cikatilo, who was known as the monster of Rostov while murdering and eating over fifty children. |
