Based on a real case, this story takes place in a little town out in the Canadian wilderness. Kimberly Hansen (Estella Warren) is a woman with a working class background. She accuses a prominent doctor, Richard Darian (Joe Hannah), of sexually assaulting her after having sedated her in his exam room. The town does not want to believe that this has really happened, so they also victimize Kimberly. The accused doctor has a bad attitude and behaves as if he is outraged by what the woman has said about him. Also, the DNA does not support her story. Kimberly must overcome many obstacles during her quest for justice. |
