A peaceful week in the Bahamas is riddled with relationship problems for the couples vacationing together for their annual retreat. Relationship expert Patricia (Janet Jackson) finds her own marriage to Gavin (Malik Yoba) unraveling at frightening speed. Terry (Tyler Perry) is afraid that his wife Diane (Sharon Leal) is cheating on him, while Angela (Tasha Smith) has the same fear of her husband, Marcus (Michael Jai White). Sheila (Jill Scott) and her new husband Troy (Lamman Rucker) are struggling financially due to Troy's inability to find a job. As if they didn't have enough trouble with these problems, things take an even wilder turn when Sheila's ex-husband Mike (Richard T. Jones) shows up, determined to use his time share that weekend. Can any of these couples find a way to save their marriages, or will the disruption of their trip be the beginning of the end of each of their marriages?
