Jody Balaban (Leelee Sobieski) is an aspiring filmmaker. In desperate need of money and a job, she takes a job working at a porn studio, with the unspoken hope that she can secretly film her own movie after hours when everyone leaves the studio. Her plan works for awhile, but it is eventually discovered. As a punishment for her clandestine actions, director Jeff Drake (Matthew Davis) forces her to work with him. The relationship between Jody and Jeff starts out very rocky, but they eventually gain and understanding of one another, and they even end up having some romantic feelings for one another. Can this unpredictable coupling result in real love, or will their situation mean that they cannot find a way to be together? |
