“Capricorn One” sees a NASA mission to Mars led by Charles Brubaker (James Brolin) experience some strange conspiracy. Seconds before the launch the team was pulled from the capsule and launched from Earth. Technicians claim the life support gear was faulty but if so then why is none of Brubaker’s crew permitted to leave the remote desert base? NASA plans on faking the Mars mission and keep them contained until the mission is over but when a journalist Robert Caulfield (Elliott Gould) investigates deeper he begins to suspect something is amiss. And now he may know too much and that means something deadly |
