Nathan (Romain Duris) is a successful lawyer in New York and he is too professional and ambitious. But his personal life is ruined since he gets separated from Claire (Evangeline Lilly), his wife. One day he meets Doctor Kay (John Malkovich), a strange doctor who is a self-claimed "Messenger." He claims that he can foretell the time of death of certain people. According to him, it is his mission to help them put their lives in line before it's too late. Nathan doesn't believe this at first, but soon he observes some alarming scenes that confirm the doctor’s claim. |
