Bullies torment eleven year old Toe Thompson (Jon Cryer) in Black Falls, a middle class suburban community. In the community everyone works for one company, Black Box Industries. They are the manufacturer of a gadget that can do it all and is popular throughout the country. A storm hits Black Falls and a mysterious Rainbow Rock falls from the sky. The rock has the power to grant wishes to anyone who finds it. The rock passes from kid to kid and parents as well in the already weird town and things only get worse. The town is turned into a wild scene as everyone has different wishes.
