Rick Richards (Elvis Presley) may well be the first American male fired for sexual harassment and creating a hostile workplace! He's a pilot, with a girl in every port. To make ends meet, he decides to open a charter plane service in Hawaii with his friend Danny Kohana (James Shigeta). Their business allows them lots of time to sing some swell songs, and theres no shortage of beautiful women. Danny gets careless and their business is jeopardized. Rick must ultimately make a decision based on love and loyalty: save his friend and possibly lose his own license to fly, or abandon Danny and save the helicopter business. He relies on his girl Friday (Suzanne Leigh) for day to day advice, but finally must search his soul for the right answer. |
