Ben Cronin (Jesse Bradford) is a promising high school swim champion with a clean conscience a charity job at the local hospital. He is trying to train for a Stanford swim scholarship and is well on track with support from his girlfriend Amy. But things get complicated when Madison Bell (Erika Christensen), the new girl at school takes a fancy to him. Imposing on his personal life and using devious tactics, Madison gets close to Ben, causing his relationship with Amy to end. But when Ben tries to break it off with Madison, she starts making life difficult for him, but will she ruin his chances at Stanford?
