Helen Curtis (Caroll Baker), along with her spouse, Paul (David McCullum), and their kids, Ellie (Kyle Richards) and Jan (Lynn-Holly Johnson), rent an English home from Mrs. Aylwood (Bette Davis); she stays in the guest house. She is a very strange and unpleasant woman. Jan has odd experiences after moving in, then thinks somebody in the forest is watching her. Paul and Helen do not want their kids to be around Mrs. Aylwood. But Jan wants to know what is out in the forest and tries to get more information, mainly from the old lady, who reluctantly spills some stories about someone who had disappeared in the forest years earlier. |
