In this remake of the 1997 Austrian thriller, two young psychotic serial killers, Peter and Paul (Michael Pitt, Brady Corbet), are murdering their way through a quiet summer vacation getaway area. They soon come to the summer home of Anne and George Farber (Naomi Watts, Tim Roth) and their son Georgie. Anne tells the story, in retrospect, of the experience she, her husband and their son endured at the hands of the two killers during the life and death ordeal.
