While on a drive with his family Hatch Harrison (Jeff Goldblum) is in an accident and is subsequently pronounced dead at the hospital. Two hours later he is revived by Dr. Jonas Nyebern (Alfred Molina) to the relief of his wife (Christine Lahti) and daughter (Alicia Silverstone) who were also involved in the accident, but not seriously injured. Soon after these events Harrison begins to have strange visions of murders taking place, and he appears to be seeing them through another man's eyes. Eventually Harrison learns that the eyes belong to Vassago (Jeremy Sisto), a Satan worshiper who committed suicide but was revived by the same doctor, who happens to be his father. When Vassago kidnaps Harrison's daughter things are personal and Harrison tries to save her. |
