David Greenhill (Don Johnson) is wealthy man that has been accused of murdering his wife. He has no qualms about admitting that he is a womaniser and that he stands to gain a lot of money from his wife's death. He takes on the services of Jennifer Haines (Rebecca De Mornay) a hotshot defender. She is quickly ill at ease with David as he begins to manipulate her and tell her things that she can't reveal because of her position as his lawyer. Determined to know the truth she decides to investigate him herself, exposing both herself and others to danger in the process. |
