Nine is a colorful and provocative musical representation of the life of film director Guido Contini (Daniel Day Lewis). This movie follows the life of this world famous director throughout its most turbulent times. Nine focuses on his personal and professional relationships as he battles his own personal crisis with his mother(Sophia Loren), and his confident and coatume designer (Judi Dench). The relationships with his wife (Marion Cotillard), his mistress (Penelope Cruz) and his muse (Nicole Kidman) are filled with drama. Nine is a remake of the 1982 Broadway Musical which was adapted from the Fellini semi-biographical movie '8 and a half'. |
