Seattleites are sick, and no one seems to know why. Enter Global Health Association investigator, Dr. Tess Martin (Anne Heche). As Tess searches for answers, the infection spreads through 70% of the Seattle population. Dr. Martin’s 10-year-old son, Alex (Gerry Rousseau) is one of the victims. And so the race begins, as Tess discovers the government has been practicing systemic natural selection for years by using the ubiquitous contrails seen in American skies every day. Those in power have been inserting toxins within jet vapor trails for the sole purpose of exterminating the aged and the chronically ill. The government, of course, denies inclusion of the poisons, claiming the contrail additives are only compounds to fight global warming. In order to maintain plausible deniability the President quarantines Seattle and signs a bill into law allowing the use of military force to keep Seattleites within the confines of the quarantine area. Thus we find Dr. Martin confronted with, and accepting, the only possible solution for a good outcome. In order to save her son, her countrymen and herself, Tess must find a way out of the city so that she can expose these fatal lies for what they are.
