This is the classic story of The Frog Prince with a modern day twist, put to jazz. The lives of hardworking waitress Tiana (Anika Noni Rose) and obnoxious Prince Naveen (Bruno Campos) have crossed paths and they fall in love. Then, all of a sudden, the prince is turned into a frog by a voodoo practicing magician. A race against time follows as Prince Naveen and Tiana race against time to break the magicians spell. Luckily they get help by an unlikely crew of characters, differing from an alligator that plays the trumpet, a Cajun firefly to a blind lady that lives in a boat that is perched in a tree. |
