When Roy Bleakie (Alec Baldwin) is hired to defend Harry Fertig (Ben Kinsley), he is not only in for a courtroom battle but a battle within himself. Fertig has hunted down and murdered the man who murdered his son but was released on a technicality. Bleakie believes that he can use his incredible skills to get Fertig off. However, Harry does not want off. He wants to speak the truth plain and simple. This goes against everything that Roy Bleakie holds true as a defense attorney. He has sworn to protect the rights of his client. When he must confront his own morals and ethics, Roy Bleakie faces an internal battle he hadn’t counted upon. |
