This Is It (2009) is a film directed by Kenny Ortega of entertainer Michael Jackson and his cast getting ready for the concert tour, This Is It, that was supposed to happen the summer of 2009 in London, before Michael passed away in June of 2009. It shows Michael and his crew selecting dancers, working on lighting, and rehearsing singing and dancing. Michael runs through his series of hits, including Thriller and Jackson 5 numbers. This Is It Also shows a few things Michael had planned for the film, such as a new short black and white film for Smooth Criminal, a new 3-D graveyard film for Thriller, and a film with soldiers that multiply for “They Don't Care About Us.” |
