Jack Conroy (Ethan Hawke) is a young man braving the Alaskan wilderness to search for gold. Jack struggles to survive the freezing temperatures and rough terrain of the Yukon. One day he saves a wolf mix from his abusive owner. Jack and the wolf form a bond after braving several life threatening moments. The wolf mix is named White Fang and is Jack’s loyal companion. White Fang is later stolen from Jack where is used in vicious dog fighting ring for people’s entertainment. White Fang proves himself to be a skilled and talented killer. Much time has passed and Jack is eventually reunited with White Fang. Despite White Fangs history of cruelty at the hands of man he is still able to be friends with Jack. Together he fight off corrupt miners and protect Jack and his gold.
