‘Night Skies’ tells the tale of the night of March 13, 1997. On this night occurred one of the largest UFO sightings ever reported. These sightings became known as the ‘Phoenix Lights’. Six people witnessed these strange events during a road trip to Las Vegas. Matt (George Stults) has gotten the group lost while trying to maneuver a shortcut. His girlfriend, Lily (A. J. Cook) is struggling with telling him that she is pregnant with his child. Joe (Joseph Sikora) and his new wife June (Gwendoline Yeo) are fooling around in the living area of the RV. Matt’s sister, Molly (Ashley Peldon) is sleeping in the back. They notice the strange lights in the sky and they all become focused on it. Matt, the driver, loses focus on the road and does not see a stalled motorist. He swerves to avoid him and crashes the RV. The motorist, Richard (Jason Connery) joins the group as they try to find help for Joe, who was injured in the crash. Things go from bad to worse when they start getting attacked by something they can only describe as creatures.
